Reclaiming Body Trust by Hilary Kinavey & Dana Sturtevant!
Hey bookclubbers — thanks for being here! 💛I’m really excited to introduce our next read: Reclaiming Body Trust by Hilary Kinavey & Dana Sturtevant.
This book was chosen through your votes — from Instagram polls and the emails you sent in — which makes it feel especially meaningful to begin the year with it together.
Full transparency: this will be my first time reading this book, too. I intentionally didn’t read ahead, because I wanted this to be a shared experience rather than a guided-from-ahead one. From what I know of the authors’ work and the body trust framework, this feels like a thoughtful, grounding place to start.
📅 When to Start
Official kick-off: Monday, January 12
📚 How to Join In
Find a copy of the book — however you prefer:
Audiobook 🎧
Or a mix of both 📖
Bonus for clients:If you’re one of my local/in-person clients, I’ll be adding three copies to the office library. Feel free to grab one next time you’re in.
Also new: I am testing out the "Storygraph" app as an alternative to good reads- they have some "read along" features that seem interesting, so join me on there if you are interested :)

Read when you can, share when you want, and take what’s useful
💬 Join the Conversation//Reflection Prompt
If you feel like it, I’d love to hear from you in the comments/I'd encourage you to briefly reflect on:
What drew you to vote for Reclaiming Body Trust?
Or: what are you hoping this book might offer you right now?
You’re welcome to share a full thought, a single sentence, or just a word. Reading quietly counts too. 💛
I'm excited to start this read with you — let’s take it one week at a time, together!
